Erik D. Olson
ERIK D. OLSON joined the firm in 2015. He studied law at Cornell Law School and the Humboldt Universität zu Berlin. He received his joint J.D./Masters of German and European Law and Legal Practice (M.LL.P.) in 2005. As part of the M.LL.P. program, he worked for both small and multinational law firms and performed an internship with the lobbyists for an insurance association in Brussels, Belgium.
After practicing antitrust law for German clients in Washington, D.C., he became a deputy prosecuting attorney for the County of Maui, Hawaii. He then assisted generic drug manufacturers with their defense of patent infringement lawsuits in Chicago before returning to Hawaii.
He is a member of the bars of Hawaii, Washington State, the District of Columbia, and New York State (inactive). He focuses his practice on enforcement of documents, landlord-tenant law, and other civil litigation for the firm.
