TAMMY T. KIM joined Ekimoto & Morris in 2025 as an associate. She was born and
raised on O’ahu and is a graduate of Punahou School. Tammy earned both her B.A. and J.D.
from the University of Hawai’i.
At Punahou, Tammy served as captain of the high school mock trial team, where her
interest in law first began. She later interned for Judge Edward H. Kubo in Hawai’i State Circuit
Court. During her undergraduate studies, Tammy was president of the Mânoa Pre-Law
Association and a senate member of the Mânoa Scholars Club. In her final semester, she
interned for the Office of former Governor David Ige. Before attending law school, Tammy
worked at the Hawai#i State Legislature as a committee clerk and later as office manager for the
Office of the House Majority Leader, Representative Della Au Belatti. She was also selected to
represent the state as the Hawai#i delegate to the inaugural Western Governors’ Leadership
Institute in Coeur d’Alene, Idaho.
During law school, Tammy continued to work at the State Legislature, externed for the
Office of the Federal Public Defender for the District of Hawai’i, interned for Judge James S.
Kawashima in Hawai’i State Circuit Court, and was a member of the National Trial Team,
competing in the National Trial Competition.
Tammy is admitted to practice before all of the courts in the State of Hawai#i, as well as
the U.S. District Court for the District of Hawai’i.
