Joshua E. Smith

Joshua E. Smith joined Ekimoto & Morris in 2024. Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Smith was a
military attorney, representing the government in numerous court proceedings as a trial counsel.
He has a bachelor’s degree in Public Policy and a law degree from the University of North
Carolina at Chapel Hill.

Mr. Smith grew up on the mainland and is admitted to practice before all of the courts in the
State of Hawai‘i, as well as the U.S. District Court for the District of Hawai‘i. In 2024, he
relocated to Hawaii with his spouse. Mr. Smith enjoys traveling, hanging out at the beach, and
trying new restaurants.
